Field Agent's “Secret Sauce”
Field Agent
January 29, 2015
Each January, we launch into the New Year by bringing in our Business Development (BD) team from around the country. The meetings are a curious blend of fun and business. While the review of the numbers pointed to the fact that 2014 was another great year of growth and expansion for Field Agent®, it was also a time to recognize and celebrate the hard work and the team culture we have built that delivered excellence in service, trusting relationships with our clients, and the successes and results of the team.
How do we Improve?
One of the highlights of the meetings was a session we had with our Client Services team around how to improve. It turned out to be what I called a "love fest.”
Our Business Development team could not say enough good things about our remarkable Client Services team. The incredible teamwork between these two groups is unique in business and is part of our "secret sauce" that clients get to enjoy.
It's one of the things that make Field Agent® different.
“Inventing the Future”
We also got a chance to cast vision for where we are going and to create focus as an organization.
At Field Agent we call it "inventing the future," and we encourage each team member to participate in the innovation process with their clients and their work processes.
I always get pumped about this discussion, because I’m known as the “what’s the next big thing” guy at Field Agent®. We discussed how to initiate the development of new products and partnerships with our clients.
This is another part of our “secret sauce,” continual innovation and total quality.
The Roots
Our Global HQ, which is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is also known as Razorback Country. Although we love the Hogs around here, we have also proven that we can build a successful tech company outside of the Silicon Valley.
As we look to celebrate our 5-year anniversary in April 2015, we like to remember where we started – in a city full of innovation – in the backyard of Walmart and steps away from the University of Arkansas. Learn more about how we got started here.
Unofficial Training
Each time our international partners and team members visit, we try to give them a taste of the local flavor by getting some really good barbecue and taking them to a Razorback game. This year, our Razorbacks did not disappoint as they beat Alabama in OT with a last second tip in. Last year, we watched the Hogs beat the mighty Kentucky Wildcats in a thrilling double OT game with a last second dunk.
Teaching team members and partners from other parts of the country and around the world to call the Hogs is all part of the “unofficial” Field Agent® training program. I am not sure that's part of the “secret sauce” but I do know that it's what makes working together more fun.
